Septembre 5th-6th, Synaps had its latest consortium meeting in Lille (France). Members were invited to present their work and to finalize our next proposal for the H2020 call on New therapies for rare diseases (SC1-PM-08-2017).
The meeting was held in the ONCO-THAI labs, located on the campus of the University Hospital of Lille. Speakers from all our partners did presentations focusing on Photodynamic therapy and Glioblastoma. IDDI introduced their skills in biostatistics, data management and clinical trial design. LEITAT technological center presented their capacities on metabolomics and their insights as potential biomarkers. Radiomics, biomarkers from radiological data, were detailed by the group from MAASTRO and Oncoradiomics. Orphan Partners 2 presented their core business relying on innovative drugs in life-threatening unmet medical needs, based on already registered molecules (repositioning). The team ONCO-THAI presented preclinical data and the concept of intraoperative PDT with the design of the clinical trial INDYGO being currently performed in our neurosurgery department of the University Hospital of Lille.
